The track Fly Away (publisher Freeplay Music), aka Wings, has been placed in the award winning documentary Talhotblond, directed by Barbara Schroeder and released by Paramount. The movie is playing in Ireland at the Guth Gafa Film Festival next weekend, and was played at the IDFA fest a while back.

Reading the Freeplay Music newsetter today, I picked up this: “As profiled in Ken Burns’s
new PBS documentary, “THE NATIONAL PARKS: AMERICA’S BEST IDEA,” the threats facing America’s national parks decades ago are many of the same threats they face today. During National Parks Week NYC, National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA) and its supporters aim to raise awareness of the challenges to our national parks. Carmichael Photography licensed and used several sweeping, ethereal Freeplay Music titles in a “virtual tour” of four of the national park sites throughout New York City, which have been dubbed “Hidden Treasures.” We hope you’ll be inspired to visit and enjoy.”
